Visiting La Mer Spa

Be Punctual

If you think you will be late, always call and let us know you’re delayed. Late arrivals will be subject to reduced treatment times; chances are there is another person booked right after you.

SHHH

Silence any electronic devices; even better, leave them in your room. Be mindful of other people and speak softly. Remember, people around you are trying to relax, too.

Using Bathrooms

You are allowed to use the bathroom during your treatment but, it will affect the continuity of your therapist. So, make sure you are ready for your treatment without any interruptions.

Shower Before Appointment

Please take a shower before going you come to the Spa appointment. By cleaning your body prior to a massage, you can also mitigate some personal hygiene insecurities, if you have any, plus it is greatly appreciated by your massage therapist.

Food & Drinks

Before visiting the Spa, eat a low-calorie meal to maintain your consciousness level. Avoid drinking alcohol before coming to the Spa as it will make you dehydrated and will spoil your whole experience.

Shaving or Waxing

To shave or wax before your Spa treatments is totally your choice. However, if you are opting for a salt treatment then, you should strictly avoid shaving or waxing before your treatment.

Communicate with the Therapist

You should communicate with the therapist before starting the treatment. If you have any medical complications or blood clots or injuries, you must tell them before starting so that they could take care of it and you do not have to bear any pain afterwards.

If you have to attend any function afterwards, tell them so that they will not be leaving any marks. However, try to talk less because you are there to relax and not to communicate your personal life.
